The polyphenols found in fresh Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil are just as beneficial to our furry friends as they are for us. Of course the peanut butter can be enjoyed by the entire family.
Dog Biscuits
- 1/2 cup of peanut butter (see recipe below)
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon of Della Terra Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Whisk together all wet ingredients. In a separate bowl, combine dry ingredients. Mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients. Place dough on flour dusted surface. Roll or press dough out to about 1/4” inch thick. Use a small (5") "dog bone cookie cutter" to cut out cookies. You can also make flat round cookies if desired. Roll out leftover scraps and cut out as many as possible. Put cut out cookies on a parchment lined baking sheet. Bake for 14-16 minutes. Transfer to a cooling rack.
Peanut Butter

- 1 tbsp sugar (optional)
- 1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
- 1/4 cup Della Terra PremiumExtra Virgin Olive Olive (Mild or Medium)
Place the peanuts, salt and sugar into the blender. Add the olive oil into the blender and wait until the oil flows to the bottom. Turn blender on high speed. Process until the desired level of creaminess or up to two minutes, scraping down the contents off the side of the blender. Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks in a tightly sealed container.
